A critical appraisal of recent struggles in Atlanta
I'm really fucking tired but from what I gathered, the point in this article is that the left is helping Cop City by just not being able to stop it? Seems kinda weird.
The point is that the non-marxist left is failing to mount effective resistance to Cop City, misleading the people they're supposed to be helping and demoralizing them. It strikes me as a quite relevant article to discuss from the perspective of developing resistance to capitalist repression that is effective.
The point of the article is the left is falling into a trap of forming protest movements that are reflexively anti-hierarchical to the point of impeding further organizing or analyzing their tactics once the current atrocity of the week is done with.
