I'm mostly straight & cis, but I know Hexbear has a large queer presence (I love my trans comrades!) so it's actually surprising to have not encountered it much here. I guess that's what I get for staying out of /c/anti_cishet_aktion like I'm told lmao.

    Yonic is from Sanskrit and was first recorded as used in English in the 19th century and Phallic is from Latin and has thus been around in the west far longer. So it makes sense that Phallic would be used more in English.

    Also because society is obsessed with dicks.
