Fuck, can't they just publicize the phone number they'll use to set up an interview so I'll know it's them? This is some bullshit.
I never answer on the first call. If it's for a job they'll usually leave a message and I'll call back. It's just good manners because then I can prepare for the phone interview they're inevitably gonna go through, like remembering what this company i applied to actually does.
And fuck it I have a life outside job hunting.
