The English club fans/"hooligans" were wildly blown out of proportion as a moral panic. The people who show up to England national team football or rugby games in crusader costumes or worse, pith helmets and shit, are uniquely cancerous
yeah but those are a small and niche minority of fans and not a uniquely English phenomenon
