Ive watched this particular studio grow from distributing esoteric and little known horror films to probably the most well known "small" movie studio. To something every mid 20s person knows about and enjoys.

I think there's some really great and unique films that come out of A24 (also some hot pretentious garbage).

I also think sometimes the early-mid20s something primary fanbase can be a little fart huffy and think they have supeiror tastes because they primarily watch A24 films.

Idk I love and hate A24 at the same time and it's always better than marvel.

Edit: Yes I'm aware this is probably an unpopular opinion on this site. But it's entertainment media, that's allowed.

    I can't believe someone used the same words "earnest attempt". Definitely earnestness is a quality I've come to appreciate more, there is something super hipsterish about qualifying what experiences are "authentic" and which aren't, and I understand this also, but tbh appreciating movies for being honest to their vision gave me a super positive outlook on movies in general whereas I was petty and pretentious in an angry video game nerd kinda way before.
