ok, so over the weekend i stayed by my brother's apartment. during that stay he made me lsiten to a few daft punk albums and watch the film, WOW :picard-excited: this is amazing! i never really paid attention to them, im more of a TMBG guy but this album is great, ill definetly be listening to more!
Omg watching someone discover daft punk in 2023, my heart. This is a precious post
Welcome to the Disco-very comrade.
Tron Legacy is a terrible movie. However, it is a great Daft Punk music video, and someone needs to make a cut with all the dialogue muted.
I did not expect to watch that all the way through when I clicked it but that was fucking amazing
RIP Leiji Matsumoto :rat-salute-2:
that's the next one i'm planning on listening to! especially since it's in my home city!
Party like it's 1999!
TMBG? Assuming other people even know what that shorthand means? You're old...GenX at best.
I'm a millennial and I love tmbg. Pandora played some of their songs back before Spotify completely ate Pandora's lunch.
i'm not ,sorry, i'm early GenZ, I like TMBG through music my family has. Thanks though, i dont know exacly why but i feel happy hearing that, again sorry comerade!
that's the song that got me into them! though i'll say their flood album is amazing
What was your favorite song off Discovery? I've always been partial to Something About Us but that may just be because I am chronically a sad boi.
There are loops of that song that go on for hours and it works so damn well
One more time and Veridis Quo, something about the sounds used in both speak to me, all of them were bangers though, it's just those two spoke to me
Veridis Quo
:yes-sicko:
It's that haunting synth flute and the way the beat slowly comes in, then later fades out for me. RAM has already been recommended, but I def think you'll enjoy Touch & Fragments of Time if you liked OMT and Veridis Quo. :spongebob-party:
