Mine's an old :freeze-gamer: whopper.

The chud, that is unfortunately in my extended family, played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind when it was still a new game and was a recent hit. He said that he liked the game but wished it was less ethnic and tried less hard to be multicultural and preachy.

He had a lot of mods in the game. :awooga: harem mods mostly. But he also had a bunch of severed Argonian heads as well as other ethnics that offended him on display in his modded harem throne room.

As you might have guessed, he had absolutely no issue with Skyrim except how ethnic and feminist some of the characters were, and had mods to "correct" that. And another harem that he proudly announced to offline dinner guests that didn't ask. :kombucha-disgust:

Oh yeah and he had to tell anyone that didn't ask and didn't care that of course he murdered Paarthurnax because he "was so sick and tired of that PC shit where dragons talked and were nice instead of stupid and evil like they should be." :frothingfash:

While talking about Afghanistan, as usual I was the only person in the room insisting that we never should have invaded, and I got this one:

The problem with Afghanistan is that you can't do democracy over there. Only a third of them can read.

That doesn't mean you can't do a democracy. There have been democracies in countries with low literacy before.

People just vote for whoever their Islam cleric tells them to. They're too dumb to understand the issues.

Not being able to read doesn't mean you're dumb, it just means you were never taught.

What? Of course they're dumb if they can't read.

In hindsight the absolute level of projection from an American right winger about voting for the person your priest tells you to is funny, but I genuinely can't believe his refusal to understand a very simple point: that someone can be smart but never get taught how to read as a child.

Charitably, maybe they're having difficulty separating knowledge from intelligence.. or more likely :us-foreign-policy:

Regarding Afghanistan, one chud I know thinks the US lost to the Taliban because of "high civilian gun ownership", though from what I know legally buying them isn't how the Taliban gets their guns...
