it sucks so much how this is a common genre of art nowadays, I can name several movies about people trying to lie or cheat or threaten they way to getting healthcare, you could literally do a podcast about all these late capitalist narratives of working class struggle. :agony:

- It’s relatable as it can happen to any of us.
- Easily understood.
- It's tragic
- It shows an unfair system which makes it okay for a character to break norms.
- It’s great motivation for wanting a lot of money, fast, without the character being “greedy”.
