Of course we should aim for a healthier society by removing certain things that don't give people joy but harm health (getting rid of lead, carcinogenic materials in foods, adding more walkability and transit options, reducing sugar and salt in food stables, ect) but like at the end of the day booze give people a great way to bond communally in a safe outdoor setting and getting rid of that sucks far more than just reducing your life span by a couple years.
