They have a lot of money, they fall in love with certain titles (and become incredible loyalists) and they're more than willing to combine these two elements to buy buy and buy. So the capitalist class belonging to the gaming industry will not only exploit it's own workers, they will also seek to massively exploit the players as well, and since they have "emotional attachments" to their vidya, they will act as unpaid mercenaries to defend their practices in social media and shit.
