Mostly just the fact that there is 19k+ upvotes on the important news item of some grifters selling weird patches. This is what passes as important news to these people.

Landing some grift on Redditors is like playing the lottery. You'll spend years plying your grift-trade, feeling lucky if you can manage to break even, and eroding your soul along the way. Then you'll watch some Krassinstein or Joe Rogan type take off because they made friends with a promotional exec and got saturation coverage of their dumb shit.
