A 50-state survey found that a disturbing number of young Americans have bought into Holocaust denial conspiracy theories that have spread like wildfire on social media.
this is not true, you can look at the data from the study which says 90% believe the holocaust happened.
a quarter do not think it's a myth or exaggerated, 77% say it happened and the numbers are accurate, 12% say it happened but the numbers are exaggerated, 3% say it didn't happen, 8% were unsure
clickbait nonsense, other surveys carried out by claimscon show as many as 96% of respondents believing the holocaust happened
That's still a quarter of Americans who think the numbers are exaggerated or didn't happen, or are unsure it happened. The title is accurate from the data you listed at least.
i do agree though the survey seems inaccurate. Might be based on their definition of "young"? I've seen my fair share of classmates that think it's exaggerated.

the 8% isn't sure, it is ridiculous to put them with the people who are knowingly propagating misinformation or conspiracies.
