Do you ever find that vyvanse doesn’t fully slow your thoughts, it kind of just gives you a way to notice those fast-paced/random thoughts
At least it does for me. Like, I still think about what I usually think about but I’m able to compartmentalize them and make them less erratic
it gives me the superpower of being able to inspect my thoughts and pick which ones i want to think about
That's kinda the opposite of what it does for me. Whatever I happen to be thinking about the second it kicks in is what I'll be thinking about for the next six hours. Needless to say, I need to time my dose carefully.
I'm what's called 'medication resistant' meaning that it doesn't work well for me and just makes me irritable and jittery.
I was too untilni did that DNA test thing for drugs and it turned out I actually had an amino acid shortage and they started me on B12 methylfolate

yeah, this is why honestly I kinda prefer it (despite the havoc it wrecks upon my digestive tract) and have never switched to adderall/ritalin.
how long have u been taking it? it can take some time for body to adjust even with stimulant meds.
I wish I could take it again but it's ~$400 at my pharmacy (no insurance).
You're already probably following it, but the Vyvanse patent expired in February of this year, and generic Vyvanse should be available starting in late August.
