According to David Thewlis, who costars with Brando in New Line's upcoming The Island of Dr. Moreau, the expansive actor "uses an earpiece" to help him remember lines. This led to countless technical difficulties on the set of Moreau. "He'd be in the middle of a scene," says Thewlis, "and suddenly he'd be getting police messages. Marlon would [repeat], 'There's a robbery at Woolworth's."'
Thewlis says he was still very impressed with Brando's legendary presence. "Marlon's pretty cool," he says. "When he walks into a room, you know he's around." Because he happens to be 300 pounds? "Oh," says Thewlis, "well, that too."
Thewlis might have been taking the piss - but it's still a great story.
Would that be an api function? He's been trying to gut 3rd party front ends since he took over because there's no ad revenue from people using nitter.

Sometimes individual instances have issues, usually just the main one nitter.net will fail loading people's timelines i think due to hi load
main instance i use has been rate limited probably related to elon shenanigans. Gonna send people to mastodon if he fucks the rss stuff. You don't switch back after someone makes you redo half your feed
The problem with Nitter is googling about it is useless and as far as I know...
- It has nothing to keep people updated about what's going on.
- It has no forum.
- It has no Reddit sub.
- It doesn't even have an official Twitter account.
All I know is Nitter search failed for me. But maybe its functionality isn't dead - it's just spotty.
