  • One theory is that they’re trying to lower employment. The fed and companies have been saying too many people are working. Forcing people to do something as insane as returning to an office when it has been proven that workers are as productive if not more productive at home means many will quit, saving you from being the bad guy who fires everyone

  • Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

  • Pretty much every brutal sanction has been accompanied by a memo saying “our exact goal is to starve the population into regime change.” It has worked before, but it also causes pushes dissidents into submission to the status quo because finding food and overthrowing the state can’t always be done simultaneously. Like look at Venezuela, even the right wing opposition has condemned the US for its sanctions

  • Two of the reasons I commonly see is

    1. It’s Cuba’s fault for starving. The US doesn’t like to starve people, but they have no choice. Cuba could end sanctions any time by simply not being communist. It’s basically the reverse Ukraine justification
    2. Socialism doesn’t work because Cuba isn’t Juche and has to rely on global trade instead of growing an abundant of food in communes and insulin in their Beth tubs.

  • I used to support your labor organization, but now it’s clear that you admire dictators and only care about totalitarian power. I will no longer support you or unions. I will back every effort by Amazon and the US government to fight against your tyranny because communism is never acceptable, and the workers must learn the hard way
