God is abusermaxxing and makes a bet with Satan that Job, a righteous man with a good life, could have everything taken away from him by Satan and that Job would still worship God and be a pious man. Satan believes that Job is only pious because of his good life. Satan kills his children, takes all his wealth, and destroys Job's health, but Job remains pious because he is suffering from battered worshiper syndrome.
