I still believe that most workers of the west don't give a shit about anyone outside of it given that the majority of the country supported bombing random people because they're darker and shared the same religion or ideology as their enemies. Regardless, it's mostly discourse that should be left to those of the global south. If you're organizing, you should be organizing to improve people's lives without exploiting the global south.
