      He once said something to the effect of, "Obviously Communism has totally failed, obviously, but when you actually describe out loud what we need to do to fix the world, it begins to sound exactly like war-time Communism."

      I think that kind of sums up his whole worldview. He was completely at a loss of what could possibly upheave the status quo, what organization or class or group in any sense ... and Matt Christman of all people suggest a military coup could do something, a moment of mid-level officers "taking the keys away" from Congress. Zizek's mind was blown, right there on a Chapo episode, because he had never considered this as a possibility, and it seemed to leave him overjoyed that there was even one possible challenger to politics as usual.
