Like, yeah I get that he died, but the fucker made his fortune exploiting mentally vulnerable lower-class people like a freak show. He was not a good person. His popularity caused the rise of entertainment that targeted real desperate poverty-stricken people and led to exploitative shows like Judge Judy, Dr Phil, and more. All shows that prey on less fortunate people. Those who can't afford Lawers or mental healthcare and are so desperate that they would risk being humiliated on international television.

'Attention seeking' is something I've seen so many times used to excuse the mistreatment of people who are are going through a mental crisis and are lashing out as a cry for help.
And it's also used to shit on LGBT people who come out in any even slightly public way
but also some people just thrive in chaos and attention
like who knows those particular people better? me, who has eaten at their trailer and gotten into drunken arguments with them and had their cousin discharge a firearm at me or you, a random on the internet who never met them?
Yeah; I had a coworker who had been on the show with her two (non-polycule) boyfriends in a similar white trash love triangle story. The production staff encouraged them to play up the hysterics and violence; same with the audience.
