It's just extremely weird to me that the left starts to pick up on countering overpopulation, eco fascism and the malthusianism presently being pushed by sections of the ruling class then suddenly the people with the worst optics in the fucking world are making it look like insane conspiracy world shit? Not everything is a conspiracy. Unfortunately there's plenty and plenty of cranks/libs (depending on context) around the world who do the feds' work for them.
It just seems to me like an easy way to divert attention around a topic you don't want to pick up steam. All you have to do is make the opponents of that topic look like tinfoil hate wearing lunatics and then libs will associate the tinfoil hat wearers with all their pre-existing negative associations and dismiss.
