"The point is that this kinship network with hundreds of half-brothers and half-sisters is much too large," a spokesman for the court, Gert-Mark Smelt, said.

Jonathan, we have been talking and... it's just too many half-siblings. The courts agree. More half-siblings are forbidden for reasons of it being too many. Stop.

this is the funniest court case in the world

There's a little community of donor babies on tiktok who discuss what a fucking nightmare it is trying to find out about their genetic past. A lot of the concern is essentially not having a medical history, not knowing if they're susceptible to heart disease or breast cancer or whatever else.

he's a sperm donor he just keeps donating sperm to clinics

if he was the natural father the dutch court would have no constitutional right to tell him he wasn't allowed to have kids

frankly, i dont think it matters that he's got a lot of kids who don't know they're related to one another. oh no, two half-siblings might have a child at some point by accident, which would raise the risk of certain conditions by like 0.18% or some shit. what ever will we do

Okay but what if a series of tragic circumstances lead to them killing their dad and ultimately the destruction of Athens or something?
