Many are already using mirror shields because the cops have been using tac lights to blind people and prevent cameras. I suspect those will work fine. I actually suspect that placing any kind of shield between you and the ray will work which means it's just a less effective water gun, at least water guns have a pushing force that is genuinely difficult to deal with.
Anyway this shit sounds like a cancer gun. I think anyone getting shot with this thing is fully justified in shooting bullets back. Shooting people with microwaves that probably cause cancer instead of a water gun is bizarre.
