There's no real organizing principle or structure between those 50 people, which on the one hand means that organizing them from scratch would be hard, but on the other hand means new power if they were organized.
I also I think that, being mostly sys admins, they probably have a lot of anarchist and communist sentiment already. But they're also going to be people who've spent a whole career watching big plans fail and make extra work for them, so it might be hard to convince them to do things.
