Newspapers nowadays be like, "How Himmler's Lebensborn Program Could End the Labor Shortage Today's America".
I think I said in a thread about the riots that the French might just replace Macron with someone willing to paper over cracks in the Imperial Core by exploiting the colonies more.
I hope I'm fucking wrong.
See: how fast Reddit went from “Argentina’s right wing goventment is awful” to “well at least they would have practiced austerity”
Macron can't run for a third term in a row, so it's likely a Le Pen victory is possible. One thing I can see right now that would make her lose is over confidence. She lost both times in the past to Macron who isn't a hurdle anymore.
How’s France been doing? Are the protests still going strong or kind of died down? Last I saw people were pissed they allowed a Nazi rally but haven’t heard anything since
Still going, if you want to find what they're up to you need to do a search for "greve" with the date using french. That's how they've used twitter effectively.
For example #Greve13Mai #Greve14Mai #Greve15Mai #Greve16Mai etc etc etc
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Greve13Mai&src=typed_query&f=video
This is an extremely effective way of finding a full timeline of events.
Alas I’ve deleted Twitter so it won’t let me see search results…but that’s a cool way to do it
Could it be that our tactics aren't wide reaching or connect enough to a working class movment that right opportunists can easily take over political energy because we have failed to meet the moment? :sus-torment:
no! Its insert twitter discourse word is why we failed to meet the moment now let me tell you about 100 year old sectarian struggle shit that isn't relevant to the current struggle or why my new campism is the right camp to support in what ever new forever war.
Im more then a little cynical maybe even irony posined it sometimes really do be like that. We just need to sit and think about why this happens because it very clear we aren't meeting the moment, and that we need to go beyond what is in our current books and understand the working class understand our moment, even understand our theory and where it lacks what we can improve. Just my 2cents
