I then chimed in and said all of the American war criminals running the country were also voted in, and then also said that 'if not for the balancing effect of Russia, the entirety of Africa, South America, Asia and the Middle East would look like Cambodia, Vietnam and Iraq, and who would stop us? Western Europeans are just as delusional as Americans in my experience speaking with many of them.
They think Americans are more racist. Incorrect. Americans are just more racist (very broadly speaking here of course) towards central and South American migrants with a misunderstood, but very real, general xenophobia towards Arabs/Muslims.
Western Europeans are insanely racist towards Pakistani people (they even have a slur on terf island that many Americans don't know is one), Indians, and Arabs broadly and anyone else they can plausibly lump under "probably a Muslim." The Islamophobia in Europe is on another level compared to Americans. It's like America in 2003 over there but forever. Remember the "no go" zones bullshit in Sweden (our boy Tim Pool went to investigate those, found they didn't exist, but still kinda kept implying they do...). Literally entire myths about roaming gangs of Muslim youths raping white Swedish women. Exactly the same as racists in the US towards Mexican immigrants or other immigrants which they will not distinguish from Mexicans.
And I dunno, I could keep roasting Europeans, but whatever. The fact is the US is the imperial core, but Europe and specifically Western Europe are just as responsible historically and in modern times for the worst parts of imperialism. They benefit from it just the same if not more (look at Scandinavian quality of life government programs, UK NHS until more recent attacks on it, etc.) They get to ride the imperialism ride but also say "no no WE didn't bomb you!" Yeah, you only benefited from the unequal trade agreements setup by US empire. That definitely makes you different.

Any reader of Capital probably remembers a huge amount of time spent on talking about the trade of slave plantation cotton from Southern US states (incredibly cheap as one might imagine) being exported directly to FUCKING LONDON or the UK generally. To fuel their tailoring industries. Good ol' England, m8. Once the center of high fashion. Clothes created from slave cotton and tailored by their own suffering industrial workers in the UK (which Marx writes about). This isn't to say "USA good" obviously, yeah no shit chattel slavery is perhaps the most evil thing to ever exist in the history of humanity. One of the worst crimes in history competing with the near total genocide of Native Americans/Indians spanning two continents and all the islands. And England not only did the genocide (their settlers along with French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and of course Americans and other nationalities once they became things) but directly benefited from the slave trade, from genocide of indigenous all over the world, from the plunder of these places. And just as the old tailors of the 1800s pre-American civil war could lean back and put on fake righteous at how good and clever they were to end slavery, while buying cotton picked by slaves, the Europeans try to do the same now days.
So I don't wanna hear any Western Europeans, Canadians, Australians even New Zealanders (yes I haven't forgot you kiwis) pretending to be righteous. The entire first world is complicit. Stop trying to weasel out.
I think Scandinavians are probably the worst when it comes to smugness and self-righteousness. "Humane capital of the world" is an unironically used phrase in Sweden, with them denouncing evil China and Russia while massively benefitting from massive exploitation, both of the third world as well as their own immigrant work force (which they at the same time are extremely racist towards).

Europe is “less racist” in one specific way, less events of open hatred towards Black people, solely because there are less Black people around to be openly hateful towards. It's got elements of the white liberal problem in that America's racism is much more obvious and aggressive, but European racism is deeply insidious and two-faced.

I think it depends. Euroids in my experience are more outwardly racist if they're not your usual smug lib. But if you scratch a euroid lib even a little bit, they become Hitler 2.0 relatively easily.
