Could be wrong, but on both state media and media out of China generally, often the quality is very poor. Videos are never above like 480p, and pictures tend to look like they were taken in 2002. This is probably just me generalizing, but mostly I just want to see higher quality pictures of China. Please prove me wrong by posting high quality pictures here.
Its a general state broadcaster problem in a lot of non western countries. The SABC in South Africa hasn't figured out deinterlacing yet, but at least they broadcast digitally and in HD now.
To update stuff they have to change standards, and updating the whole country can be an issue. China for instance has more people living in rural areas than the US has people.
Yeah but even old analogue cameras are better than newer (cheap) digital ones.
