The Orville already did that. And unlike Family Guy, it was actually good. :soviet-chad:

So uhhh... Has Seth McFarlane ever walked back his defense of the blatant transphobia on display in Family Guy S08E18 ("Quagmire's Dad"), or any of the shame/dysphoria-inducing shit they've pulled re: portrayals of future Meg as transmasc? I realize it has been like 13 years, but Jesus Christ, that show.

Some context (CW: transphobia, gaslighting from McFarlane):

As far as I can tell, no. And that saddens me because I did enjoy the Orville quite a bit and I don't entirely believe in the "separate art from artist" excuses, especially after he started dating the actress that played the security chief on the Orville (who is at least half his age, if not younger) and it affected her career instead of his because of fucking course it did.

Years and years of "SHUT UP MEG NYEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH" and "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS FUNNY NYEHEHEHEHEHEHE" didn't help that either. :disgost:

Somewhat unrelated but I really like Lily Simpson's videos. She's making some quality content and I recently subscribed to her channel.
