    to believe "propaganda" is inherently bad on its face you have to believe you have no ideology and that someone can be "objective" in spite of the material conditions of their life up until that point. real "end of history" shit where anyone who has a viewpoint to promote is evil

      A lot of people think propaganda means "fake things meant to make people angry"

      And yes the ones complaining about it, on its own detached from any specific agenda or interest, believe themselves as completely rational actors detached from all history

      Americans especially don't seem to grasp that telling the truth can be an extremely effective form of propaganda.
