FNV definitely is the kind of game I'll claim and never play, thanks for letting us now!

The best way to play Bethesda games is to spend a couple weeks scrupulously curating a new mod list, reading through descriptions and making sure there are no conflicts with the rest of your list. Eventually you'll have made it almost an entirely new game that you will play for a hour before shelving it for another 5 years.

I spent 3 days meticulously gathering mods, updates, and tweaks for BotW on CEMU. Then another day adjusting rom and emulator settings. I played it for half an hour after I decided maybe full dark night time and no fast travel weren’t actually a good idea.

That's what happened when I tried giving F04 another go. Would get CTD as soon as I left the Vault and I wasn't going to parse through 200 something mods to figure out what it was.

Looking into it, apparently its DLC protection is basically nonexistent so as long as you get the files from somewhere (like cs rin ru) it just lets you use them?

Its a wargame with 4x elements. The dlc is mostly other factions and more units but you can spend 20-30h just with the base game and have seen most of it. Really enjoyed it in multiplayer it is all war though.
