    I'm reasonably sure tanks also have far, I mean far better/shorter braking distance too but don't quote me on that.

        Don't the tank tires (belts??, not sure what the americans call them) also stop motion pretty much immediately, while a regular SUV has, ya know, wheels who keep spinning to avoid crashing?

    Sort of related, anyone got a link to those stats about how overrepresented some of these cars are in road incidents? Or maybe it was dodge chargers... something like that. I'm not American so I don't know your car culture well enough to guess.

      Not sure about accident rates, but the dodge ram has over double the national average rate of drunk drivers

      So probably higher accident rates too, just based off that
