there's a fair point to "people who just seem to hate it and believe a ton of other weird shit probably just hate women" but people do sometimes go too fair into actually defending it. Like, I talk about it for shits and giggles with my friends and most of my fraught romantic life weirdly maps onto the compatibility charts, but I'd drop it in a heartbeat if that was the party line. Right now it's just nonsense that doesn't matter, for the most part.
