maybe that's because it isn't a political cumpiss and doesn't try to be. you could even say it is mocking cumpissers by using their colors in an unrelated context
personally I do find him funny, but in a pathetic kind of way. He wants to be a brave public intellectual with important wise thoughts, but instead he's just a weird guy complaining about how Disney cartoons have too much gender.
