On Saturday, while on Twitter, I came across a chud stating how Star Trek was not liberal (in this context, "liberal" meaning basically anything to the left of at least Ted Cruz).
I pointed out how inaccurate that is and the person and like minded people didn't like me saying that.
In fact, yesterday morning, morning, the person that started the thread (who has a pretty respectable following, apparently) was complaining about an accurate depiction of Emmitt Till's lynching.
Also, it eventually ended with someone whining about Zendaya being in Dune.
I bailed when the Trek equivalent of the CIA (section 31) showed up and were portrayed as cool mavericks.
Yeah but you don't understand, they needed to make a spin-off show where the Nazi empress from another universe could operate in the Trek CIA and it was a good thing and not a bad thing somehow.
you ran into a tweet with a 4chan screencap. i mean, everything you said is redundant to that.
Really regret clicking on the Emmett Till thing. Saw them arguing that the Tulsa Massacre likely didn't happen (because whites don't torch cities of course) but if it did happen it's because "causation".
I know they've always believed the most depraved shit like this but I can't help but be a bit disturbed how well Mr. Divorced Emerald Mine Heir seems to have cultivated it.
