Get high at work and do your job poorly but not incompetently. If you're paid hourly you get the same cheque where you do good work or mid work.
Otherwise spend every free unsupervised moment looking for a new job. It can be cathartic at the very least
Don't make a rushed decision to quit unless you really can't handle it anymore. I've quit terrible jobs and ended up in a worse job because i still need money to live
let some steam off by pulling a fire alarm every now and then
"box breathing" (4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds out, 4 seconds hold) supposedly activates the parasympathetic nervous system and moves us physiologically out of the "fight or flight" mode. i use it sometimes. i like that it's a thing i can do without drawing attention and that it works fast. it doesn't fix problems, but can limit the damage these problems do to our bodies in the short term.
and gives space for the gentle mind to return and imagine mindfully choking the life out of one's boss in a spiritually centered way.
can employers really point to "additional duties" and be like "that means anything!!"?
like idk I'm not a lawyer but
I mean they can probably tell you to do almost anything, the :amerikkka: solution is to simply find another job
Use passive aggressive behavior. Agree to do your best, work at a normal pace and apologize when you don't do all the work. Sounds like they need you more than you need them
Breathing exercises and/or do some sit-ups beforehand (if you’re not tired)
quantity vs quality right? If they are giving you a lot of work, it's your duty to do a shitty rush job of all it. Just don't care as much about the outcome, sounds like they can't afford to lose you anyway.
Are you hourly, then? If so, "I do not have time to complete all these tasks, I need overtime or we need more workers" could be an approach.
Take meds and also just don't do what they ask you. Or do a really half asses job at it.
