Malwarebytes stopped me from continuing on the test.hexbear site citing excessive notifications.
(I posted this in the thread related to the test site but got no responses so I don't know if it got noticed or not)
this is news to me. what are the notifications? what browser are u using?

I'm using firefox but I don't know what the notifications are, malwarebytes just says there are excessive notifications (it's too late to add a picture to my post (and I'm too lazy to go through the process of recovering my password for imgur) or I'd add a pic of the warning, though the warning doesn't go into any detail).

lemmy will send notifications when you get replies and such. you can safely ignore it
