I get very LARPish imagery. A bunch of pencil-necked white boys covered in grease paint, running through a park in upstate New York while pretending to be Rambo.

There's this fanciful notion that Americans are just better at war than the humble peasant farmers of the Far East. So we'll send all our guys into boot camp and they'll come out as Elite Super Warriors who can each single-handed take on a hundred Chinese infantrymen. It just has the stink of delusion all over it, which makes this shit very funny.
