        What's hilarious is how old the slur filter discourse is. It actually has not been hardcoded for years, and since they added multi language support I don't think it's even populated by default anymore because of too many false positives, but because of some heated GitHub arguments and Hackernews comments from ages ago it's still sucking up oxygen in conversations about Lemmy to this day
