Aww, thanks~ Literally just signed up... hopefully this will grow a bit more and I can wean myself off of Reddit. It would be really nice if there were something like Reddit Enhancement Suite that worked here. I'm really used to keyboard navigation.

this is an open source project, so ultimately its down to whoever adds to it. i think the devs are currently working on lemmy federation right now as the top priority (this site was made prior to that really being a thing), but accessibility features are very important, they took a lot of time out of their day to add pronouns next to everyones names for example (and banning the people that hated that feature).

really glad to see more trans people come to this site, it makes me a very happy camper :cat-trans:

Hah, I forgot about that, what a distant memory :rip-bozo:

we always must create new tools that get the hidden transphobes riled up so we can purge them ruthlessly :snom:

iirc the 'we love our trans comrades' meme here, while true, was originally developed by our shadowy cabal of trans people to weed out troublemakers. it works very well :cat-trans:

it was so funny how mad the pronouns made people. its kind of easy to forget how chaotic the early days of hexbear were.

ngl that one post that said "uphold TransComrade69 thought" [regarding the liberal use of the banhammer for reactionaries] and linked this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uThpIDlfcBQ) was what actually got me to read parenti and listen to some of his lectures
