      That was always the worst part about posting on Reddit; that frustration when you saw a notif and just knew it was some dork who replied to you with a wall of bad faith garbage.

        I could be posting the most innocuous shit, and it didn't matter, 9 times outta 10 some turbo-dweeb would come in to tell me why I was wrong about it, or to parrot the same haggard reddit meme that didn't even apply to whatever I said.

        i would always make sure that my replies had a smaller character count. my hope was that redditors would catch on until we just typed exclamation marks at each other for hundreds of posts, but redditors are redditors

      God that is such a good fucking point, it's night and day. Literally goes from 99vs1 on Reddit to 1vs99 on Hexbear, in terms of someone debatebroing a comment that didn't explicitly defend and overclarify itself
