Have noticed a definite increase in posts in c/commrequest for subreddit specific comms. Also noticed posts about :libs: flocking to lemmy.
Can we please not? No site specific comms. No posts in the subreddits offering lifeboats.
We’re either going to be outnumbered by libs or awful ideological niche folks that are just going to completely ruin the entire vibe and function of the site.
It happened before (vcj). Don’t let it happen again.
I take abuse and harassment seriously enough to not call every internet slapfight abusive.
A major part of this site's vibe is not conflating the internet with the real world, and at least recognizing that being terminally online is bad.
