At least in a hospital, your friends and family might be able to bring in outside food. In a prison, I might just hunger strike if they don't accommodate
yeah ive thought about this before, particularly around time to protest. I'm pretty firmly prepared to refuse any animal products even if it ends up hospitalizing me. Obviously I've never been in this situation and can't say for sure that I'd hold out, but I feel like I'm in a pretty good position for a hunger strike as I've fasted plenty of times before. so, like, I'm not unfamiliar with hunger
