I like the idea of devolved democracy, but I also recognize that democratic centralism/having a clique of mean girls run things has certain advantages in a wartime situation.

Maybe it’d be okay if we had some way of ensuring the only people who can vote are those who have been posting here long enough that we can reliably for the most part assume they aren’t wreckers.
