A medium-famous model and actress comes on stage and says her son needs to be "cured" and now measles is back, Covid is spreading uncontrolled, all kinds of childhood illnesses are resurging, Polio has been found in the wild again. Fuck me.
Like yeah, it's not all McCarthy's fault, but she was a major, major factor in spreading the concept widely. And Oprah could live a thousand lifetimes of penance and never account for how many people she's hurt.
