Went to a local trans meetup i hadn't been to for a couple months, could admire the amazing progress of some of our folks early in their transition, could offer helpful advice to some incredibly nice freshly hatched eggs, met a bunch of super cool nonbinary peeps, then learned the hella cute lady who organizes the thing and looks like she's in her late twenties / early thirties is almost 50. Absolutely mindblowing how HRT keeps you young. All in all just the most loving, supportive, inclusive good vibes all around. Then decided this afternoon to head to another local trans meetup i hadn't been to before, turned out it's the obligatory fucking weird and truscum infested one, got into a verbal slapfight about gatekeeping and respectability politics. I'm so glad my regular group is full of cool people, i really didn't need this shit
