I know that either newtype eugenics politics or plastic crap: the show makes Bandai the big bucks, but , fuck, the little human stories Gundam has managed to tell really make me feel something. 0080 really encapsulates the main themes of the series; dying in senseless wars isn't glorious, most adults can't be trusted to make compassionate or even smart choices, power exists to use up the young and destroy them, growing up is its own kind of death, and that we're rushing headlong into destruction and there's very little we can do about it.
Is it wrong to cry over a fake robot show?
I’m on episode 2 and started to get a little bored. I’m going to try to stick with it instead of moving on!
Push through, the first two episodes just put the pieces in place.
