I think ranking either hours of service needed, or cost of service needed per year is probably more useful.
Like, a cupholder breaking and a transmission replacement seem to both count as one problem in this ranking.
Or maybe a "3/5 mechanics would never ever buy this brand" would be a good ranking. Like a reverse dentist-toothpaste rating.
