"Red-brown alliance" is a term that was used to slander the CPUSA for its politics on Cuba and the USSR, to slander the USSR for making a treaty with Hitler (Matt Christman did this recently btw he called it an alliance, you all have goopy brains). You're repurposing it against people who are literally just brown-brown. There's no red-brown. Goddamnz

It's like "no genocide denial" - sure it sounds nice to you in your imagination, but it has history. In reality it means banning everyone who denies Stalin & Mao killed 50 billion people, banning everyone who points out China isn't sterilizing Uyghurs, wholeheartedly eating the Victims of Communism Foundation propaganda or you don't get to speak.

My post on the "no red brown alliance" banner should not have been removed. I got a lot of incredibly smug and condescending responses and the site kept hanging when I tried to reply, it didn't seem like anyone actually read it properly.

You seem to think that because non-Marxists like Red Scare, Maupin, and Infrared (all weirdos into Heidegger who have NEVER read Marxist writing! JUST LIKE ZIZEK! Stop entertaining these clowns!), or the deranged Fourth Political Theory people exist that means there is some tendency for alliance between Marxists and fascists.

Ironically the first time I heard this phrase was from Alexander Reid-Ross (before he got ousted from Portland State for sexual harassment) posting about the Chapo subreddit, using analytics to prove they were fascist by association. The same way he used dubious anonymous twitter account examples to pin guilt by association on things. Also was used during the Iraq war & Syrian war as slander against antiwar communists, it’s the exact same kind of thing as “why do communists think russia is based??? It’s not communist silly!” thing but applied to Saddam Hussein and Assad. Really just goes to show how well Twitch reality show politics trojan horses NATO bullshit into people’s minds

What last thread. This is what I mean about subtweeting. This is some hyper specific complaint you have going on here about what seems to be extremely online bullshit.

Also chill homie. Were people getting mad at your for using the term "red brown alliance"?

Okay there we go, that's a fair point to make. Though when anyone here says "red brown alliance" they're talking specifically of social nationalists.

I understand that historically there's usage of it as an anti-communist trope, but I also don't think that it's a term that really needs to be defended. I think understand it's historical use is important, but now a days it actually has some use because the myths of the "red brown alliance" actually stuck and uneducated people and fascists have latched on to the concept.

I'm sure it seems that way to people who know who Keffals is. You're the uneducated people clearly. 30 people responded "huh? Huh? Post hog!" But I've never heard about it from anyone outside this weird discord/patreon/twitter brain poisoning zone. Literally nobody cares about maupin and dugin. The nazbols aren't marxist in the slightest they just like strong men big country.

There's no need to call any of this a red brown alliance. There's no red involved. None

Yeah this is a fucked vibe for something that I think would actually be a good site struggle session.

For real, like definitely ban this account. They're saying some misogynist, fatphobic, and unhinged shit. I'm definitely gonna read up about the historical use of "red brown alliance" though. I knew about his it was used to slander the USSR for the MR pact, but didn't know it was continually used as a psyop. I always saw it as more of a warning than an attack, especially in the past 10-15 years.

But whoever this is I think has been living in a cave for a few decades at least.

The CPC literally interviewed Maupin as a representative of the American left on CGTN. So he's successfully grifted media time and has positioned himself as a "leftist" even though he's a fascist.

And I'm cool with not calling it red brown alliance, I never thought there was red involved in any of those specific instances anyways. It really should be more clearly defined as "there cannot be a red brown alliance"
