Actually good time to ask. is this a "fuck it we raid reddit today" kind of Chapo sub spinoff or are you just cold turkey, pure fediverse now?
It really bothers me reading about how advertisers and anti-disinformation people are able to look at the data they collect. I know it's inaccurate on some level, but does that make it any better? It's like an intimate, destructive parody of your own sentiments that can never be true. Maybe I'm just baked.
Oh I know Lemmy's data practices are excellent and everyone here is ideologically committed to open source
Just wanted to make sure linking to reddit isn't frowned upon when it's actually useful and relevant to some degree, I'd abide by it. Probably won't even come up again.

I can't follow half of that but we approve of brigading to answer the first question and this website doesn't collect IPs last I checked
My point about metadata is some people don't even like linking to youtube, they prefer Piped or other mirrors. Same goes for reddit

On c/the_dunk_tank it is a rule to link to the source, including posts complaining about some bullshit post on . Brigading is cool and good.
Hell yes
