I only watch cooking videos. And only because my child and I are both autistic with sensory issues, and we're looking for recipes we can both enjoy.
Tomorrow we're going to try making Sonny's mac and cheese, with just white cheddar, and skipping the spices (except for some white pepper, because it's invisible!).

Oh, it's not that we dislike pepper—far from it! But having black specks in the sauce is a non-starter.

I don't have sensory issues so I get the luxury of getting to choose, but in lighter dips and sauces I for sure prefer white pepper because it's just nicer
