Honestly, Steam Deck and Switch make a good combination.
part of me wants a steam deck, but i dont play the switch enough, and the Steam Deck is fuckin massive. i mostly just want a handheld emulator though.
The Asus Rog Alley is good then since it's both an emulator and plays modern-day games.
Of course, the Steam Deck can also function as an emulator, if you know how to do it.
dang that Asus one is cool, a bit smaller than steam deck too
Yeah, though I like the Steam Deck's size (screen size, specifically).
i probably trust the Steam decks quality more than Asus too.
Im firmly in the tired of it. Its just not powerful enough for most of the games i like playing at any reasonable quality
I look at Final Fantasy XV on PS and Xbox, then I look at the Switch version running the mobile port, and it might be the most embarrassing indictment of the hardware I can possibly imagine.
I'm a bit tired as well, but we won't see another console till 2025 or, if we're lucky, 2024.
Honestly, the Wii u was my preferred form factor. A base station that actually renders the game, and a wireless play device if I want to play a game in bed.
